Q&A

Is Oil Sucker water or silicone based?

It's water based!

What is the difference between Secure The Sweat and Oil Sucker?

Since oil and sweat are produced differently by the skin, we created different primers for each concern. Secure the Sweat absorbs sweat and prolongs makeup wear, while Oil Sucker was made specifically for oily-skin besties and delivers extreme mattification.

Can I use Oil Sucker together with Secure the Blur/Secure the Sweat?

Sure! Get the best of all worlds by using our primers as spot treatments. Apply Oil Sucker to areas like your T-zone for all-day oil control. Keep sweat in check on your upper lip and forehead with Secure the Sweat. For uneven texture in areas like your cheeks, apply Secure the Blur.

Does Oil Sucker have silicone in it?

Nope, it's silicone free.

What type of foundation should I use with this primer?

She plays best with any water or silicone-based foundation.

Why does the product turn white?

Don't worry, this means it's working! The white cast is excess oil interacting with the oil-sucking powders. It disappears on contact with foundation - or you can tap the area with damp fingertips.

Melanin

I'm darker skinned, neutral, but oily skin. At first I hated it for the white cast but hear me out. I tried something different. First I put on my moisturizer I know that doesn't make sense then I put on the primer of course white cast so I used my concealer and buffed it out with a Kashi flat brush then I did the rest of my make up. It came out flawless with no white cast. I hope this helps.

Just can’t seem to get rid of the white cast

I want to love this soooooo badly because on a good day, this makes my makeup look bomb but when it’s bad, it’s mf bad. I truly only put a small dot on each of my cheeks that have enlarged pores and get oily throughout the day and smooth the product over thinly in my oily areas. Sometimes even after I put on my skin tint or foundation, the white cast still shows. I tried wetting my finger and dabbing the white areas but they would reappear after they dried. I tried using extra setting spray in those areas- would still reappear. And it looks crusty and such with my makeup on (half the time I’m doing my makeup before work and I’m not tryna re-do EVERYTHING I’m already late all the time).

all this to say idk what I’m doing wrong - curious to see if others experience this and what your hack is?!
